Lukman Hakim is a Reseach Professor at Indonesia Institute of Sciences. His background education and experiences are as follows:
• Pharmacist – Dept. of Pharmacy; Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences University of Indonesia (1979).
• M.Sc. in Policy Science, Graduate School for Policy Science Saitama University (then become GRIPS) Japan (1986).
• PhD. In General Systems Studies, Dept. of International and Interdisciplinary Studies, The University of Tokyo (1994).
